JEE

JEE examinations are conducted every year by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This
exam is conducted with the motive of selecting the cream layer of students for admission
into India’s best and most respected engineering colleges IITs, NITs, IIITs, other centrally
funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) and Institutions / Universities funded / recognized by
participating state Govt.
JEE or The Joint Entrance Examination has 2 levels JEE Main and JEE Advanced; once a
student clear JEE Main successfully then he/she becomes eligible for JEE Advanced, which
is the second stage. Admission into IITs and NITs / IIITs / CFTIs is given through performance
in JEE Advanced and JEE Main respectively

JEE Main

JEE Main has 2 papers. Paper 1 is for B.Tech. (Bachelor of Technology) & B.E. (Bechelor of
Engineering) Paper 2 is for B.Arch. (Bachelor of Architecture) & B.Planning (Bachelor of
Planning). Both the papers will be held in Online mode except for the Drawing section in
B.Arch.
Eligibilit

12 appearing / Passed. After exam, for Admission into IIT / NIT / IIIT /CFTI sudents must have the minimum 75% marks (65% for SC / ST) or be in the Top 20 percentile in 12 class exam
conducted by the respective Board

Number of attempts

Eligibility

Students can appear for JEE Main 2 times a year. They can attempt the exam for
3 consecutive years from the year of passing class 12 .

JEE Advanced

JEE Advanced has 2 papers and a student must appear for both.

Student should be amongst the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) from B.E. / B.Tech paper of JEE Main.

Eligibility

Student can attempt JEE Advanced twice for two consecutive years. (One with class 12 &
second in next year)

NEET

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET, formerly known as AIPMT is a pre-medical
the entrance test in which class 12 appearing/passed students appear for admission in
undergraduate course (MBBS / BDS) at medical colleges including AIIMS.
This examination is conducted by NTA annually in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages

12 appearing / Passed. After NEET Exam for admission into Medical college, student must
the have passed 12 Board with minimum 50% marks (40% for OBC / SC / ST) in aggregate in PCB
subjects.

The appearing student must complete 17 years of age.

Olympiads & Other Competitive exams

Olympiads are the exams that allow students to compete with other students of similar educational levels. These exams are carried out to conclude and appreciate the skills of participants in subjects like mathematics, science, computer technology, or english language. Olympiads are conducted in all 3 levels- regional, national and international; the participating students are judged on their scientific reasoning, analytical thinking, and logical-ability related to the particular subject. Students who appear for these exams and achieve good marks are awarded scholarships, and money grants.  Similarly, scholarship exams are Nationally and Internationally recognized tests which include questions of higher order thinking and analytical thinking. lf a student quali?es for the scholarship then they get the opportunity to win money grants, rewards, and ?nancial aids in pursuing higher education At Momentum, we train our students for these examinations by making them go through extensive practice of logical reasoning and analytical thinking.
